DSIP Analytical Testing: Purity Is Not Identity
Purity and identity are different questions. HPLC estimates how much of a sample is a single component, while mass spectrometry checks whether that component has the expected mass.

Why is purity not the same as identity?
A sample can be 99% pure and still be the wrong compound, or be the right compound and only 80% pure.
A reliable analytical report needs both measurements for the same lot.
What does HPLC show?
High-performance liquid chromatography separates components so the relative amount of the main peak can be reported as purity.
HPLC alone does not prove what the main peak is.
How does mass spectrometry confirm DSIP identity?
It measures the mass-to-charge ratio and can confirm the sample matches the expected DSIP mass of about 848.8.[10]
Tandem methods (LC-MS) can also support sequence confirmation.

What is a COA?
A Certificate of Analysis is a document reporting test results for a specific lot.
Check that it lists the lot number, the method used for each result, the testing laboratory and the date, and that the lot matches the one you hold.
What does DISSOLV LABS say about its testing?
DISSOLV LABS states on its own website that its peptides are HPLC verified by an independent third-party laboratory and that batch-specific COAs are provided.
dsip.shop has not independently verified these statements, and no DSIP-specific DISSOLV LABS report has been reviewed here. Readers should examine any COA directly.
